Thanks to your voting support, last Fall the Stone Store won TOP PRIZE across Canada for our Genuine Health Greens+ Display!

GREEN INITIATIVE by The Stone Store
we donated $1,000 of our window display winnings and our store matched it with another $1,000 for a total of $2,000 and participated in our first annual tree-planting event at a the Old Growth Forest Project at Ignatius Retreat Center.  This project will one day link with other proposed green corridor projects and will eventually stretch from Guelph to the Grand River, creating a green corridor for people, plants, birds and animals.

On Monday May 21st, staff, friends and family of the Stone Store spent a day tree-planting at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre.   These plantings will act as a wind-break and as an erosion control measure.

The trees (& Shrubs) we planted: White Pine, Cedar, Tamarack, Oak, Highbush Cranberry, and  Ninebark!  Who loves TREES?!!!!

Thank you for your ongoing support which helps us give back to our community!
